It’s the time of the year for the holidays and planning for
short trips will be part of the plan for many families. Johor Bahru is one of
the preferred options for many Singaporeans as it’s about an hour or less from our borders.
Below, we recommend some of the things you can consider
doing this holiday if Johor Bahru was on your list of travel plans.
Durian
This is the season to rejoice as durians season is here
again. Yes, we can get it locally but won’t it be even better to have it fresh
from the land that produces it? We tried the Mao san wang but both of us strongly
agreed that Super XO durians taste way better. The bitter yet sweet creamy taste
of the Super XO wins hand down.
With so many stores going at great discount and exchange rate
at all time low, shopping in Johor Bahru has been a joy. You simply buy without
much thoughts. With Christmas around the corner, getting gifts for colleagues
and friends is must to be done in Johor Bahru.
Malaysia has always been one of my favourite place for food.
Our must eat food in Johor Bahru is their Lok Lok. You simply choose what you
want, either have it fried or boiled and eat till your hearts content with their
special marinated condiments and chilli sauce.
Ladies, If you have the luxury of time, visiting a salon in
Johor Bahru is a must. I was told that prices for perming and cutting is ridiculous
in Singapore and you can easy get it done for half the price in Johor Bahru.
What better way to tell your body to relax and enjoy by
simply treating it to a good massage. With a wide range of selection and competitive
pricing ranging from 100RM onwarda for a 90min session, you simply get spoilt for choices.
Take this opportunity during this holiday season to spend
quality time with your family and love ones. Have a great time travelling and
kudos.
